Senior portrait session fees are $85 + tax ($91.59).

Your session includes hair styling and *makeup for girls and minor cover up for guys. Your photographs are taken outside on location at the local Sun House Museum located on Main Street in downtown Ukiah.

• If you wish for an additional $15, before we go to the Sun House, I will provide a tuxedo, shirt and tie (size 42-44) for the guys or the traditional black off the shoulder V drape for the girls; usually 3 to 4 photographs are taken in this attire in the studio.

On average, sessions last about one to one and a half hours.

Location of your choice:

• Ukiah or Redwood valley is $100 + tax ($107.75).
• Potter Valley, Willits and Cloverdale are $125 + tax ($134.69).

When booking your appointment, be prepared to mail the session fee in full to the studio address below, we can also take credit cards over the phone. Be sure to include the date and time of the appointment in the memo section of the check so we can log it as being received.

Outside Sessions:

General rule for outside is to be casual, comfortable, and like what your wearing from head to toe. The outside setting has lots of greenery and redwoods, so more fall like colors are suggested. Recommended colors are reds, burgundy, teal, purple, blues and greens; anything bright works well in spring and summer.

Pastel colors are not complimentary to skin and are not recommended. If there is any part of your body that you are self conscious about i.e. arms, stomach, legs, do not bring clothing that accentuates those features .

Stay away from white and gray. Bring sweaters, jackets, Letterman jackets, and soccer balls or footballs. Bring in a couple of your favorite shirts or sweaters and I will make suggestions as to what I think will photograph the best.

What not to bring:

1. Wrinkled clothing
2. Logos on T-shirts
3. Short skirts
4. Heavy prints
5. Heavy stripes

Girls:

Please arrive with clean dry hairand no make-up.An additional $10 will be charged if hair is wet or damp. Hot rollers are used but will not work if hair is the slightest bit damp. If you have a certain style you create yourself, or naturally curly hair, please arrive with your hair the way you like it best. Mascara must be used and must be provided by you. Also bring an eyelash curler but only if you use one.

Also bring your favorite lipstick or gloss if you have one, although it is not necessary.

• Update

Flat irons are really popular right now but they can affect the outcome if you want your hair to have some curl. Hot rollers tend not to work as effectively when hair is straightened prior to your session. As always I will do my best.

Guys:

if you wear hats try to avoid them on the day for your session, Hats create a crease in the hair that is difficult to get rid of.

Previews and Enlargements are not included in the session fees. Your preview CD will be available for you to view at the end of your session. Enlargements take on the average 3 or 4 weeks. The studio requires a $125 deposit + tax ($134.59) to remove the viewing CD from the studio. Your CD is time sensitive and will expire within 15 days. A $5 fee will be charged if you need another CD created due to expiration.
